I sent an email complaining last night about the lack of communication (will be one month on saturday since i submitted my payment) and he promptly returned a shipping number. apparently paypal should have given some kind of notice but did not (i'm not sure i've ever received a notice from paypal, or i did and forgot about it as it came in the form of an email). so i should be seeing the part after about a month of waiting.

See that makes it hard for me to want to go spend 1k+ if it's gonna take that long.

i don't blame you a bit honestly. ultimately it's your call. i've seen a lot of people posting great things about overkill but the wait times are a bit ridiculous. mainly the lack of communication (i still don't have a receipt for my purchase electronic or in paper unless it comes in the packaging with the handheld. when i checked the tracking number it had shipped on the 12th of this month so that was about 3 weeks before being shipped (it says 4-10 business days as he's on vancouver island above washington state i believe), and i should see it later this week he thinks (i'm in Fort Wayne Indiana so i have the big names for shipping with hubs in my town and deliveries are usually quick).

i'm holding final judgement on the ordeal until i can mess with the programmer a bit. i am a little bummed i didn't get the hptuner that allows more customization but realistically for my application i just want to install it and forget about it with the occasional swaps for trips to ensure economy on the frequent trips we take.

Hey I'm curious how you got a hold of him. I have ordered from him in the past and it was a long wait but I did receive my tune and communication. I ordered a tune 4/11/2017 and have e-mailed him several times at the e-mail from his site as well has messaging him on facebook. I haven't heard back from him at all. What's the best form of communication?

i had emailed him previously before i paid for the parts asking questions and didn't receive an answer. last night after work i facebook messaged him and emailed about the same time and an email came back. i pulled the email from his website getoverkilled. i was pleasantly surprised to see a response so quickly with the information i was hoping to see.

Ok well I guess I'll try again right now. I used that same e-mail. I don't know if he is overwhelmed or what but I'll see how it goes, thanks.

I will make the statement I've read this is a side gig for him. With that being said, i can also imagine he is a bit overwhelmed. Looks like per his Facebook site, he's been working on current gen camaro 3.6 upgrades as of late.

No doubt and I am not being overly critical I think, but is has been over a month with no communication. I just want to see a simple response like it's received and not dropped because it is a more of a side thing.

I think he should get a sales guy or team. He has lost alot of business from the no response issue that's why I went to the trifecta tune instead of his because of I didn't get a response back and from the long wait times. I get he is busy and I'm not trying to talk bad about him he had great products and he knows his shit. His tunes are better then trifecta just the wait time and the lack of getting questions answered is losing business.

Yeah he probably should. I went with him because I have in the past and wanted a 3800 tune; does trifecta do 3800s? Anyway, I guess I'll give it a few more days and tried. It's just kind of frustrating I don't hear a peep in over a month.

emails are cheap, bug him again. maybe leave in your message the long wait you've already experienced.
