3800 n/a swap to 3800 s/c

I have a 2002 Impala LS with a n/a 3800 motor that has 140,000 plus miles on it and im entertaining the idea of putting a s/c 3800 motor from the impala ss in my car, along with the tranny, suspension, etc., etc. My question is, does anyone know where i can get these parts from in reliable condition & for a reasonable price or would it just be cheaper for me to get a hold of a 2004-2005 impala ss and do the swaps that way? Any & all suggestionz are greatly appreciated. Thankz!!

you can do the swap for about $2k, trans will be another 2k+ for a GOOD WELL BUILT reliable tranny that will handle most boltons
theres an ImpSS for 7500 in Holt MI right now... I can get you a list of stuff you need for a topswap later if still interested...

That would be a hell of a trek from MI to Davie. You probably could check around on the local craigslist's down there. I imagine that you could probably find one in the Miami area with as bad as people drive down there.

IIRC you just need:

Gen III Eaton M90 Supercharger
L67 throttle body
lower intake manifold
cylinder heads
fuel rail w/ injectors
valvecovers front and rear
harmonic balancer
idler pullies, brackets, tensioner, etc for supercharger belt system
coil pack
MAP sensor and bracket

And done. Waiting for DLS to confirm.

pretty much sums it up (+ gaskets and fluids)
Stock L36 coils WILL work, they just put out a little less juice, Im still running the L36 coils

also recommended
L67 fuel pump, again you can run the stocker, but every little bit helps, if you dont get the pump, get the rewire kit

LS1M Scanner (or something to scan data w/)

4T65EHD upgrade (avail thru Morad Parts Co or ZZP/Intense)

used parts, check Ebay (please post link to m90 PRIOR TO BUYING) or Morad parts (latter is recommended)
