I'm not sure if this is the correct spot to post, but I'm at my wits end. :bang:
I have an 05, 3.4L Base model. k3:
I had both front hub assemblies replaced with brand new Timken's because the ABS sensors went bad.
Before I got them replaced, I was getting a noise that can only be described as sounding like I had small rocks in the hub cap. Almost like a rock tumbler. It made it when driving straight, and rattled louder whenever I hit a bump. Afterwards, the noise is still there.
Winter rolled around and I never got to look at it. Last weekend I did new brake pads and rotors front and rear. I didn't notice anything abnormal, loose or hanging wrong. The only thing to note is that the passenger side splash guard is there but doesn't seem like the section that actually goes under the engine is secured to anything.
My question is: has anyone else had this issue? If so, what did you do to remedy it and has it been a successful fix? :hope:
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
