Steering Problems

Hi guys,

i have a 1995 IMPALA SS and whenever it rains or the roads are wet or i drive in a puddle, my Impala's steering locks up.

i have to put the car in reverse, then back to drive in order to turn

this is not good and definitely not safe

any suggestions on what to check/replace?

Check your belt tensioner. It sounds like your belt may be getting wet and slipping. I have no idea about putting the car in reverse and all that though.
