My '96 didn't come with an air pump!

Guys I think that my exported '96 LTZ came from the factory without an air pump. Can you confirm based on these pictures? If so, can I remove those extra pipes/hoses on the manifolds and just plug the holes?

It sure looks like it is gone. Get the brass caps/plugs for the manifolds. Looks like half of the work is already done for you.

Yeah except nothing is perfect. They gave me an annoying overspeed alert and a 174 kph top speed limit instead.

The system was so troublesome that for 95-96 b-bodiesGM actually went to the EPA and got approval to program it out of the pcm.
The pipe running under the motor wont come out in one piece with the engine in the bay so just know you have to cut it.
